Our studio publishes content for the Unity Asset Store, Unreal Marketplace and our own store.

 

About the role:

As the HR Manager, you will take ownership of all HR matters across the company from recruitment to performance reviews, wage reviews, disciplinary action, and learning and development. To perform well in this role you should have experience as an HR manager, or other senior roles in the HR team, and knowledge around all legal requirements in this role.

This is an exciting opportunity, as we are looking to develop technologies in the VR/metaverse spaces.  It will be an advantage if you are experienced with playing games or using apps in virtual reality.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in human resources or recruitment management

  • Exceptional communication skills, writing skills, interpersonal skills, and ethical mindset

  • Adept to problem-solving and conflict resolution

  • Extensive knowledge of HR policies and systems

  • Familiarity with HR software (e.g. BambooHR)  and working knowledge of MS Office, Google Apps

  • Bonus:

  • Have worked in the game or technology industries

  • Familiar with working in a fully remote-work company

Responsibilities

  • Consistently recruit excellent staff.

  • Maintain a smooth onboarding process.

  • Run training, counseling, and coaching our staff.

  • Resolve conflicts through positive and professional mediation.

  • Carry out necessary administrative duties.

  • Conduct performance and wage reviews.

  • Develop clear policies and ensure policy awareness.

  • Create clear and concise reports.

  • Give helpful and engaging presentations.

  • Maintain and report on workplace health and safety compliance.

  • Handle workplace investigations, disciplinary, and termination procedures.

  • Maintain employee and workplace privacy.

  • Propose and execute solutions to build morale, improve workplace relationships, and boost productivity and retention

  • Ownership of HR data and metrics to guide the studio’s growth
